Our director ๐๐๐ญ๐๐๐ก๐ ๐๐จ๐๐๐จ๐ฎ๐ญ and her colleague ๐๐๐ซ๐ข๐จ ๐๐ซ๐ฬ๐ฉ๐๐ง๐ข๐๐ซ (Via l'Anse) will offer a workshop on November 15th for the ๐ถ๐๐๐๐๐๐ก๐๐ ๐๐๐๐ก๐ฬ ๐๐ก ๐๐๐๐-๐ฬ๐ก๐๐ ๐๐๐ โ๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ ๐'๐ธ๐ ๐ก๐๐๐ (๐๐ต๐ธ๐ป-๐ธ)
This workshop aims to better equip practitioners on the specific issues experienced by male victims of domestic violence, in a trauma sensitive approach. The main objectives of the workshop are:
1. To present a history and a portrait of the risk factors and consequences of domestic violence experienced by men
2. To increase the awareness of professionals to the different forms and dynamics of conjugal violence
3. Suggest ways to address this issue with their clients
4. 4. To provide practitioners with the tools they need to encourage their male clients to recognize that they are experiencing domestic violence
5. To develop their abilities to better support a male victim of domestic violence
