Shalie-Emma holds a bachelor's degree in psychology from Université de Sherbrooke. Her research interests include attachment and conjugal/sexual satisfaction in new-parent couples. She begins her doctorate in psychology (PhD/RI) under the supervision of Dr. Natacha Godbout. Her thesis, funded by the Fonds de recherche du Québec - Société et Culture, will be based on data from Projet Couples Parentaux and Collectif national sur la victimisation au masculin. Shalie-Emma is also co-coordinator of these two projects.
