Marie-Pier has a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Laval University. Since Fall of 2011, she is a doctoral student in Psychology (combined Psy.D./Ph.D. program) at Laval University under the supervision of Stéphane Sabourin and Natacha Godbout. Her doctoral thesis focuses on relational and sexual functioning among survivors of childhood sexual abuse. Marie-Pier is also interested in the emergence of sexual difficulties in intimate relationships as well as the interdependence between marital and sexual functioning, especially in childhood trauma survivors.
