Marianne Girard

Marianne holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology (with honor thesis) from Laval University and her Master’s degree in sexology (research-intervention) from the University of Quebec in Montreal (UQAM). She is currently pursuing her Ph.D in sexology under the supervision of Dre Natacha Godbout at the same university. Her research interests focus on the short- and long-term impacts of childhood sexual abuse on the survivor's adjustment in terms of dating violence and mental health issues. She also works as a research coordinator for the Sexotherapy project. Marianne is currently a recipient of the Joseph-Armand-Bombardier Canada Graduate Scholarship (SSHRC).
