Francis obtained a Bachelor’s degree in psychology at the University of Québec in Montreal (UQAM) in may 2018. He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in psychology at that same university under the supervision of Dr. Natacha Godbout and Dr. Alison Paradis. The repercussions of childhood interpersonal trauma on intimate relationships are at the core of his research interests. In his doctoral thesis, he intends to investigate the role of mindfulness on the relationship satisfaction of trauma survivors using a dyadic perspective. Francis is currently a recipient of the Joseph-Armand-Bombardier Canada Graduate Scholarship (SSHRC) and the Fonds de recherche du Québec – Société et Culture (FRQSC).
