Anne-Julie obtained, at the Université du Québec à Montréal, a Bachelor’s degree in Sexology in 2012, and a Master’s degree in Clinical Sexology in 2014. She also began, in 2014, a doctoral degree in Sexology (Ph.D.) at the same university. Her thesis addresses the impact of childhood interpersonal trauma, therapeutic alliance and access to resources on sex therapy consultations in the province of Quebec.
