Allyson Gillard

Allyson Gillard holds a bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of Laval. She is currently a doctoral student in psychopedagogy at the same university under the supervision of Sylvie Parent and Marie-Pier Vaillancourt-Morel. She is interested in issues of safety and integrity in sports. Specifically, her thesis focuses on factors associated with the experience of sexual violence in sports among adolescents in Quebec. She received a doctoral scholarship from the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada and the Fonds de recherche du Québec – Société et culture.
